If you suffer from osteoporosis, you should avoid foods that are high in salt (such as canned food, salted snacks, seafood, cheese, sausage), animal protein of any kind, foods that are high in oxalic acid (such as spinach or rhubarb) or phytic acid (such as bran and whole grains), and foods that should be avoided in an alkaline diet (such as sugar, white flour, meat, eggs - please check my related list).
