Foods to Avoid With Neurodermatitis
Neurodermatitis is often caused by food allergies, so of course the most important thing is to avoid any food you might be allergic to. But in addition to that, you should also avoid foods that may damage your intestinal microbioma. That includes white flour (products), foods that are high saturated fats such as meat, certain plant oils, or certain dairy products, foods that are high in sugar or acid (including unripe or sour fruits), hot spices, very hot or cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, and caffeine. Never eat pure yoghurt or fruit but always combine them with cereal products. Also, avoid eating them with an empty stomach! With respects to vegetables, carefully try out whether you tolerate pulse, corn, or cabbage - some people don't. Also, avoid foods that may cause inflammation (please check my related list). For foods that are recommended, please check my list "Foods to Eat With Neurodermatitis".
