This is the sixth in a series of lists I'm publishing providing, in my opinion, the best 40 books (or series) of each genre of fiction. I plan to cover nearly twenty genres in total. So far, I've published lists for historical fiction, horror, thrillers, children's literature and war literature.
This list provides what I believe to be the best fantasy novels of all time. While fantasy is certainly not my favourite genre, I do know quite a bit about it and am trying to expand my reading. Good Omens remains one of my favourite books, and I grew up with the Redwall series. I do think that true fantasy lovers are basically the most 'hardcore' or dedicated readers, as fantasy series are extensive and require an immersive imagination. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this list and the others in my own series!
