Foods of the Carbs Group According to Fit for Life

Fit for Life is a concept by Harvey und Marilyn Diamond according to which carbs and protein should not be combined in one meal. The foods on this list belong to the carbs group and may be combined with most types vegetables and with fat, but not with foods that are high in protein. There is, however, no scientific evidence that might prove that carbs and protein should not be mixed. Also, pulse and cereals contain a considerable amount of protein themselves.
