Foods Compatible With a Paleo Diet

People promoting a paleo diet believe that we should only have foods that the hunter-gatherers used to eat. However, there is very little scientific evidence to the harmfulness of other foods, while on the other hand a too high consumption of meat or eggs may rather be harmful. Also, the foods we have available now are not the same anymore as they were in the Stone Age. It is thus impossible to reconstruct a palaeolithic diet.
