Even before Apple TV+ and Disney+ entered the picture in November, there was more scripted television flooding the airwaves than at any prior point in history. The surplus of content can be kind of overwhelming—and in case you think Peak TV has reached its peak, get ready for HBO Max, Peacock, and [checks notes] Quibi, coming to a screen near you in 2020.
