The English Teacher Looks at Some Really Good Scary Stuff - Page 2

Our maverick English Teacher and genre enthusiast looks at the Horror/Dark Fantasy genre and finds 105 really good reasons to leave the lights on and stay awake all night. With a few obvious and necessary exceptions, he has tried to stay with the modern, contemporary form of the genre; hence, Stephen King, Peter Straub, Dan Simmons, and Robert McCammon are necessarily dominant. Once again, this is not meant to be a "Best Of..." compilation. The compiler just really likes these books, and he feels that they deliver the goods, even upon rereading.
