Another month has passed in my continuing quest to catch up on all the movies I've been meaning to see for a good long while. Plus other titles that I've found along the way and decided that they needed watching, too. The first 24 movies on this month's list were part of TCM's 31 Days of Oscar.
So many titles I would recommend this month, I can't possibly list them all, but the best are: Battle of Algiers, Best Years of Our Lives, Good Night and Good Luck, Last Emperor, Life Itself, Man for All Seasons, She Done Him Wrong (just to watch Mae West!), Tender Mercies, Whale Rider.
Far and away, though, the two best are Night of the Hunter and The Fog of War.
