I started off the month catching up on Gary Cooper films (ended up watching 15), then Roger Corman passed away, so I split my focus. I'd already seen 36 Corman-directed and/or -produced films, but I watched another 9, including the 4 movies in his "Poe cycle" that I hadn't seen yet.
(And as a former teacher and longtime trainer, let me express my admiration for Corman mentoring so many actors, writers, and directors, who started their careers with him--*far* too many to list here)
I also stumbled into watching four versions of "Alice in Wonderland" I had not yet seen. The stop-motion animated characters in the 1949 British version were (unintentionally) creepy af....
