The English Teacher's Top Ten: Westerns

Our maverick English Teacher and movie buff goes the "Top Ten " route with movie makers, movie stars, and movie genres. Up next - The Western. Limiting the list to only 10 was almost impossible; too many great movies had to be left off - no Anthony Mann, no Budd Boetticher, no "Ride the High Country" ( it was that or "Unforgiven " ; since Peckinpah was already represented, he went with Clint Eastwood). He went with "Tombstone" over "My Darling Clementine" and "Rio Bravo" in order to give the more modern western its proper due.
