Books to Read While Still in Lower School

This is a list of books that many people--not just me--think that everyone needs to read. Most are picture books, but a few chapter books have found their way on to the list. Many come from Anita Silvey's 100 Best Books for Children list. Others are from Time Magazine's list of 100 Best Children's Books of All Time. Finally, I also used New York Public Library's List of 100 Great Children's Books.
