Blunderman Presents: 95 Movies of the Cinematic Revolution - Page 3

This next series I'm doing focuses on movies from each individual era of film: The Classic Era (from the beginning of cinema to the 1950s), The Cinematic Revolution (from the 60s to the mid 90s), and the Modern Era (from the late 90s to the present).
This list focuses on the movies from the "New Hollywood" movement which paved the way for the modern film industry (the downfall of the Hays Code, the advancement of special effects (especially CGI), and the birth of the summer blockbuster). While the movement did technically take off in the 1960's, there are two movies from 1959 here, and that's because they were movies that challenged the industry standards ("The 400 Blows" being part of the French New Wave movement, and "Some Like it Hot" challenged the Hays Code).
Hope you enjoy!
