Assigned Reading - Page 3

A list of the books I was required to read in school (UK high school) and university for my undergrad English degree. The first 12 are the ones from school - GSCE and A Level English Lit (UK schools seem to read less than many US schools from the lists I've seen online), the rest are from uni. I left out the poetry I did for my degree, as we usually did between 3-6 poems for each poet rather than look at full poetry books, and I also left out most of the short stories which we read from large anthology collections and online.
I organised the books by year, and module within the years, so you can probably guess vaguely what I studied for many of my modules. My favourite module was definitely 'The American Dream,' which I did in my second year.
And I, like any good English literature student, of course did not do all of the reading - especially during third year (which was my final year since I went to a UK university) when I was ill quite often.
