American Birds That Have Strayed to Europe - Page 4

This is a list of birds, normally found only in the Americas, that have at some point strayed to the European continent. The birds on the list were taken from the Princeton Field Guide to Birds of Europe (2nd Edition). As usual with vagrant birds, some of them show up on the continent annually, while others have only a single record despite decades of watching. Speaking as an American birder, I was quite surprised by the size of this list, and by the presence of some of these species on it.
