Readers of Europe Recommendations 2021 - Travel Across Europe Through Literature

In 2021, when many were still confined to their homes, the Council Library of the Council of the European Union found a 'low-cost' to visit other European countries. They launched a new Readers of Europe Reading List with the theme "Travel across Europe through literature''. The list was compiled on the basis of recomendations made by 23 of the Permanent Representations of the EU. The selections cover a broad range of genres, travelling not only over Europe´s countries, but in and out of time as well.
