In this list, I go through my favorite Best Picture nominees from 1987 until 2021 (in reverse order). The image below is of the Jax Junior Cinemas in Littleton, New Hampshire, a place I've actually been to though alas I didn't have time to see a film there. The 2021 Oscars are on Sunday, and I know at least one cinema, the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, Virginia, will be showing them live. Greetings to those of you here in the USA, and to those of you around the world. Perhaps some of you are actually from Yozgat, Turkey, which is not far from where my late Turkish immigrant father grew up. (My mom is American). Yelp actually has movie theatre rankings for Yozgat; you can't make this stuff up! And, lastly, a shout out to Fine Arts Theatre in Asheville, North Carolina, which is still apparently screening the great current Best Picture nominee "Licorice Pizza." All the best to all of you, feel free to say hello, well okay, maybe Facebook is better for that than List Challenges! Oh well....
