Tilly Gock-Boo-Dock's Best Picture Oscars Plus Alternatives (Part One 1985-2021 in Reverse)
Since the Oscars will be airing on ABC-TV here in the USA in like 19 days (I'm writing this on 7 March, 2022), I thought it would be nifty to post an Oscars Best Pictures list with a twist, in addition to the actual winner (the film I will list first) I will post two alternative choices, the first will be a film that was nominated for Best Picture, the next one will be a complete snub, or a film that was not nominated at all. My process is not perfect as I decided to choose Pulp Fiction over Shawshank Redemption. I must admit I had a false memory in that I remembered Shawshank as a film that wasn't nominated for Best Picture but it was. In 1994, I was 24 years old. Yeah, those were the days! Hope you enjoy the list regardless if you're in New York, Paris, Istanbul, or Anchorage, Alaska, for that matter!!
