What exactly IS a difficult movie, and why IS it on my list, you ask? Great question! My focus is primarily movies I've had GREAT difficulty trying to see. Keep in mind, I'm in my early 50s and I've only just recently messed with streaming services. Many of these films are or were exclusive to web streaming services, be it Netflix or Mubi. Others can only been seen that way, or by paying for one-time streaming use (ie. American Utopia, 63 Up, or Chained for Life). Some of these films NEVER aired on pay-tv, were shown in cinemas (except perhaps in New York or Park City), or were available on dvd. Other movies on this list like "Dune" (2021) are easy to find but VERY challenging, and others have very long running times, or difficult themes. This list is not chronological, but I will start with ones that have posed obstacles for me, and perhaps you too! Can I get an AUUGGGHH?! Thank you....
