Thor: Love And Thunder is yet another franchise built on the back of gods and ancient mythology. While the legends of the ancient Greeks are perhaps the most popular to adapt, the Norse, Egyptian, and a variety of other pantheons have all been adapted to the screen, alongside some fictionalized deities as well.
Gods are such intriguing characters to draw narratives from because, despite their incredible powers, they are still so often portrayed as very human.
