The English Teacher's Top Ten: The Films of Jack Palance

Our maverick English Teacher and movie buff goes the "Top Ten" route with movie makers, movie stars, and movie genres. Next up- Jack Palance. A far more gifted actor than he is usually given credit for, Palance did superb work on stage and in live TV. On screen, his intensity could be palpable. NOTE: Unquestionably, Palance's greatest performance was in the TV Production Of Rod Serling's "Requiem for a Heavyweight." Since it was done live on TV, and only exists as a kinescope now, I couldn't include it in a list of films, much as I would have liked to.
