The A.V. Club's Best Television Episodes of 2008

Television: It's there in our living rooms asking so little that it's easy to take for granted. Worse, much of it frankly isn't all that good. (The A.V. Club would point out Knight Rider, but why kick a talking car when it's already on the way to the scrap heap?) But the best TV demands attention be paid, even with so many distractions around. What follows are The A.V. Club's favorite episodes of their favorite shows that ran in 2008, a sort of best-of-the-best list. (Warning up top: If you're worried about spoilers or catching up on DVD, you might want to skip a few entries.)
