Rough Guide to Classic Fiction Part 2

These are the rest of the titles from Simon Mason's great book. Nobel prize winners, Pulitzer prize winners, Booker prize winners, all here. As well as books from Austen to Zola, more recent authors include Cormac McCarthy, James Ellroy, Philip Roth & Margaret Atwood. Most of the books are war novels(Naploeonic-WW2), Sci-Fi & mysteries-including 2 books by the extemely prolithic French author Georges Simenon, creator of Maigret, who wrote nearly 500 books(& claimed to have bedded 10,000 women in his spare time!). A great way to learn about the classics of world literature, though I also recommend 501 Must-Read Books & 1001 Books to Read Before You Die(combined list). Hope you've read more than me, especially my BFF!
