Required Re-Reading: Books You Will Want to Return to - Fiction

Our Maverick English Teacher considers THOSE books - the ones you return to, often again and again, for reasons you sometimes can't even fathom. You pick them up and glance through them, and the next thing you know you are ploughing through them again, thoroughly engrossed. Here are 75 works of fiction that he has read and re-read because he connects to them in ways that are deep, meaningful, and personal. The only restriction was that the books had to be fiction; non- fiction and drama will have their own lists down the road. Our list maker stopped at 75 to keep the list manageable; it could easily have been 2-3 times this length.
