Ohio's Special Birds - Page 3

Ohio is a fabulous place to look for birds. Every spring, the Biggest Week in American Birding festival takes place in northwest Ohio, centered on the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, where 20 species of colorful warblers can be seen at the peak of their migration. Adams County in the south has birds like Blue Grosbeak and Summer Tanager that can be hard to find elsewhere in the state. The Lake Erie shoreline hosts many wintering gulls and ducks. The Buckeye State has an abundance of great birds at all times of year.
