Nichelle Nichols is an incredible actress and was very important for making headway for more diverse roles in television. Part of the charm of Star Trek was seeing a multicultural bridge crew that were all treated equally seriously. Martin Luther King even told her to stay in the role when she expressed doubts, and she grew to become a fan favourite. Compared to her co-stars Star Trek was rather early in her career and while she's stayed busy hasn't racked up quite such a massive filmography as the others (but still quite large).
This is part 5 of my list of Star Trek actors filmographies counting both film and TV roles. Will not count short films or videogames.
Oddly Nichelle Nichols is the only main star from the Original Series who never guest starred in another film or spin-off (she was invited to be on Voyager's Flashback episode with George Takei but declined because she felt the role was too small) she did however star in a fan film in 2007.
