Michigan is truly an awesome state! There are tons of places to see and activities do on this list, including great local foods and festivals. This Grand Tour of Michigan starts in the southwestern corner of the state, runs up the Lake Michigan coast, crosses the Mackinac Bridge, goes clockwise around the Upper Peninsula, then half way down the Lake Huron coast, and then zig zags down the Lower Peninsula. Each national historic landmark and each national natural landmark in Michigan is included. Each county has at least one place on the list.
