It was a weak decade. Most of the decade had been full of CGI franchises like Marvel movies, Disney remakes and Pixar films. But there were many memorable films too. Just not as strong as the 00s and no where near as strong as the 1990s. This is the decade where the quality of television surpassed cinema.
