Great Books About Film: Reading the Movies - Page 2

Although it may seem contradictory, there are some great books about movies. Some are film theory, some are film criticism, some are histories, some are biographies, and some are appreciations. I have arbitrarily excluded shooting scripts, how-to manuals, and coffee table books in order to keep the list manageable. Anyway, here is a personal list of favorite readings about my second favorite art form.
