Films Umbrellas Saw in June 2020 - Page 2

These are all the films I watched in June 2020, listed in order of how much I liked them (favourite film first). Top spot goes to an old classic, which for once was the right pick for the top Academy Award (back in 1947) - The Best Years of Our Lives. Other less famous films that I'd highly recommend would include Illustrious Corpses, an excellent paranoid thriller in the mould of Pakula films like The Parallax View, 50/50, Spetters, and Employees' Entrance. At the other end of the scale I found a film I hated even more than most late Godard films, Attack the Gas Station! But hey, Time Out thought it was 'one of the funniest and most subversive comedies ever made', so what do I know?
