The films are ordered according to how much I liked them - best liked first. The strongest impression this month was from the many films I saw with sequences choreographed by Busby Berkeley - 42nd Street, Dames, Gold Diggers of 1935, Fashions of 1934, and Roman Scandals. Some of them aren't great films but the Berkeley sequences are always worth a look and in some cases they're simply astounding (the front picture is from one of the more outlandish ones). If you've never seen a film with Busby Berkeley choreography, seek one out. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
