Films That Played in Toronto in 1998

The year the Dude abided & "Psycho" was remade, to which everyone wondered WHY?! Last year it was volcano movies, this year meteors with "Deep Impact" & "Armageddon". Adam Sandler hit it big with "The Waterboy" & "The Wedding Singer". A Quebecois franchise was launched with the first "Les Boys", while Wesley Snipes first played DC Comics "Blade". "Godzilla" was turned into a giant female iguana-like mess. Cate Blachett became a star in "Elizabeth", while the era was also shown in "Shakespeare in Love". Other notable films include-"A Bug's Life", "You've Got Mail", "Pleasantville", "Halloween:H20", "The X-Files", "There's Something About Mary" & of course "Saving Private Ryan". Sequels to avoid-"Blues Brothers 2000", "3 Ninjas:High Noon at Mega Mountain" with Hulk Hogan & the late Jim Varney, "Major League:Back to the Minors", "The Odd Couple II" & "Species II". I didn't include the title "Stolen Moments" as there were 2 films that year with that title.
