The year started with the Oscar-nominated drama "Revolutionary Road", & ended with James Cameron's "Avatar". Kevin James scored with "Paul Blart:Mall Cop", & Liam Neeson kicked butt in the first "Taken". "Watchmen" with Patrick Wilson & "Up in the Air" with Vera Farmiga showed us what great actors they are, while Hugh Jackman went solo in "X-Men Origins:Wolverine". "Star Trek" got a reboot, while "The Hangover" made us twist our tongues saying Galifianakis. Tom Hanks sported shorter hair in "Angels & Demons", & Brad Pitt went scalping in "Inglourious Basterds". "Paranormal Activity" scared up big bucks, & Sandra Bullock won an Oscar fot "The Blind Side". Great animation with "9", "Coraline", "Ponyo", "Fantastic Mr. Fox" & "Up", good sci-fi with "Moon" & "District 9". Jesse Eisenberg visited both "Adventureland" & "Zombieland", while Robert Downey Jr. was remarkable as "Sherlock Holmes". P.S.-"Sunflower" actually played in Toronto in 2007, couldn't verify title at the time.
