Fighting on Top of Trains 101

Now I live near a train station and in over a decade, I have never ever ever ever ever ever seen any fool climb up on top of a train. Even when completely stopped and loading passengers. nobody feels the need to climb up the side of a train car. Heck, I've never even seen someone run and jump on the train as it's pulling out of the station. But in the movies, the tops of trains are like moving platforms to show off the changing scenery as backdrops for fist-fights & shoot-outs. I understand why they do it. It's just ludicrous. Every single movie on this list is plain ludicrous, but I love them anyway.
