How do you decide on your favourite directors? One way is to look for those who consistently make films you like. So here's a list of 30 directors who've made at least 5 films high up on my all time list (cut off: 5 films by the director in my overall top 600 list). In each case I've listed the 5 films in my order of preference, and I'm also listing the directors in rough order of preference, favourite director first.
