Carnivores of North America
This is a list of all members of the mammalian order Carnivora that are native to the USA and Canada, excluding pinnipeds (seals, sea lions, and walrus) and the Sea Otter, which I'm putting in a separate list of marine mammals. Carnivores are divided amongst two suborders: the Feliforma (of which cats are the only North American representatives, with hyenas, moongooses, and civets and genets occurring in the Old World tropics), and the Caniforma (which includes dogs, bears, skunks, weasels and raccoons, as well as the pandas of the Old World and the pinnipeds).
