Career Pitching Records -- Strikeouts

Only 16 pitchers in Major League Baseball history have reached 3,000 or more career strikeouts. Only four have reached the 4,000 mark, and only one has reached the 5,000 mark.Of these 16 players, all but five have been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame; of those five, all but Roger Clemens seem to be a lock for election in the near future.
