Books That Made Us: Episode 1

"What truths can we uncover about ourselves through the fictitious characters of Australian novels" (ABCTV, 2021)
If you haven't read many Aussie books, you can think of this list as an introduction to some great, mostly contemporary, literature from 'Down Under'.
These are 10 books that are discussed at some length on the first episode of a new ABCTV (Australia) documentary series. The broadcast includes interviews with all of the living authors (which unfortunately does not include bushranger Ned Kelly, who was hanged in 1880). More instalments to come.
