BBC Play of the Month - Classic Theatre Plays / Plays Adapted From Novels - Page 3

The "BBC Play of the Month" was broadcast 1965 - 1983. Many of these were lavish costume dramas, staging Shakespeare, Shaw, Chekhov, Ibsen etc. Others were modern plays and comedies. And others were adaptions of novels and non-fiction biographies.
Where it is a book adaptation, I have listed both the book and the play. Sometimes they had different names eg. "Washington Square" is the novel and "The Heiress" is the play that was adapted from it. Usually though, the two will be side-by-side with different writers.
For this list challenge, tell me if you've read it, seen it, or performed in it.
