Last New Year, I resolved to watch fewer stupid movies and more films I loved. In the past year, I've seen over 100 movies from 21 different countries and in 14 different languages. I attended 2 film festivals virtually, subscribed to the CriterionChannel, and discovered entire GENRES of movies I adore (especially Indian masala films). I've learned about so many regions of the world and have now heard whole movies in languages I didn't even know existed prior to 2024. I'm excited to keep watching movies in 2025!
