This is a combined reading list in English subjects from 1968-1973 in my typical suburban Boys Only High School. Or at least those I can remember having read. Can you work out which country we are in?
BTW, the country is NOT England. So quite an appalling insult to my country's home-grown literature. I suspect RK2MAX & Sean Harding may find the list both bewildering and amusing (that's a clue).
Update: My high school mate Eens and I have recalled some extra books that make the snub even worse. They are Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Animal Farm and the poetry of Robert Frost.
