A Non-Fiction List at KS5 - Page 13

A list of titles recommended in various handbooks as extension reading for students at Key Stage 5 (A Level), years 12 and 13.
There's no literature included here as the examination board recommends that we "Read widely and think critically about what you read. Pursue your own interests in literature, but bear in mind that it is a good idea to read some pre-twentieth century works and poetry as well as contemporary novels."
All I can say is that I'm glad my compulsory education ended some decades ago - only two years to read a selection of these books, covering four subjects? I would take my hat off to today's young people.
