500 Home Run Club

25 Major League Baseball players have reached the 500 Home Run mark. Of these, 8 have reached the 600 Home Run mark, and 3 have reached the 700 Home Run mark.
Of these, 16 are in the Hall of Fame; one is active (although under suspension); one is not eligible for the Hall of Fame (having failed to meet the 5% minimum ballot threshold); and seven remain un-elected.
Unfortunately, due to the controversies surrounding the Steroid Era in baseball, the totals of the following players are viewed by many with a great deal of suspicion:
Barry Bonds (retired)
Alex Rodriguez (under suspension)
Sammy Sosa (retired)
Mark McGwire (retired)
Rafael Palmeiro (retired; no longer eligible for the Hall of Fame)
Manny Ramirez (retired)
