"The horror genre has been known to boast some of the bloodiest, vile movies known in cinema. Movies franchises like Saw, Hostel, and Nightmare on Elm Street push the buttons of the MPAA and taunt audiences with grotesque ideas involving guts and gore. We hate (and love) seeing depictions of realistic torture on the silver screen because it makes us squeamish and repulse in horror, yet we can't get enough of it.
