11 of the Most Underrated Fantasy Movies According to CBR

Fantasy has some movies that are clearly icons of the genre, from the dark romance of Twilight to the epic adventure of The Lord of the Rings. Though these stories are far different in content, execution, and themes, they are trademarks of the genre because they capture the tropes within the wide spectrum of fantasy. However, many fantasy movies do not reach the level of success that these icons do. Though audiences could argue that's because of the clear superiority of these hit movies, there are some fantasy movies that don't get their fair amount of attention. While not all movies can revolutionize the genre, there are some underrated fantasy films with meritable qualities.
