10 Movies That Flopped During the Pandemic (That Deserve Another Shot) According to MovieWeb

"From writer strikes to actor scandals, there are several things that keep studio executives up at night, but nothing might ever match the woes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the disease's peak, Hollywood had to readjust itself, hence several movies that were meant to be theatrical releases were given the VOD treatment. Others made it to the big screen anyway but weren't able to pull in the numbers that had been projected. Even for the films released on streaming services alone (or on both streaming and theaters simultaneously), many flopped because the public had harsher realities to face, making them unwilling to dedicate much time to entertainment. There are, therefore, several movies that are worthy of a reevaluation or even a re-release if possible. These projects have all the necessary ingredients needed to make them classics, but they might never be seen as such because of the harsh environment in which they were birthed." - movieweb.com
