Yet Another List of Fall Books

For a list of Fall reading, this features some of the usual, and some that are less usual; probably I associate some of them with autumn because of when I first read them.
I tend to think of Fall as the time for reading classics, 19th century fiction, story collections, Gothic (mystery and horror, though not necessarily either) and books with a fair amount of intrigue woven into their plots. And earlier sunsets lead to leisurely reads, so sometimes lengthy or complex books.
