'Bluestocking' is a track originally from Hippopotamomus, the 1991 album by cult pop singer Momus, in which the narrator expresses admiration for a sexy, well-read girlfriend who knows various, mostly erotic or allegedly erotic, classics.
Marguerite Duras is not mentioned by name in the vocals, but the long French quote that ends the song is hers, and the credits included "French girl whispering Marguerite Duras". The lines are from 'Blue Eyes, Black Hair' - though in one blog post many years after making the album (but before Google books enabled easy checking of such things) Momus had said they were from 'The Lover'.
The 'Latins of the Silver Age' in that list entry are meant to be examples rather than definitive.
