Scottish food: some nice, some terrifying.
Rich in world class produce, there is more to Scotland's diet than deep-fat frying, sugar and offal. That said there is an awful lot of deep-fat frying, sugar and offal.
No booze on the list. I tried not to list traditional Scottish foods that are found in other countries (e.g. scones, bangers and mash etc). Nor do I list the excellent fish, crustaceans, game, beef and lamb that can be sourced in Scotland. This is about dishes, not produce.
The list goes in the following order
- Breakfast
- Bakery (sweet)
- Bakery (savoury)
- High Tea (cakes, biscuits and nibbles)
- Sweetie Shop
- Soup
- Sea Food
- Vegitables and Stuffings
- Mains
- Deserts
- Cheese
- The delicious hellscape that is the Scottish chippy.
- randomn stuff
Make a disgustation menu out of that lot. I double dare you!
Enjoy.
