What's the Story Wishbone? - Page 2

It may have only lasted 2 seasons, but I think Wishbone was one of the best kids' shows of the last 20 years. I loved how different tales from around the world were chosen-as well as Wishbone's cute costumes! Hercules, Odysseus, Anansi, Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, C. Auguste Dupin, D'Artagnan & Mr. Darcy-I wonder how many children were inspired to look beyond Goosebumps? I never even heard of Wu Ch'Eng-En's Monkey before this show. I was pretty successful finding pics except for a couple of things. I chose a pic of Ojibwe & Dakota Legends & Oral Traditions for The Story of the Deathless Voice, & Robert Graves' wonderful Greek Myths for Hercules & the Golden Apples. David & Goliath is the Bible tale, & A Scandal in Bohemia is one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Holmes mysteries. Heart of the West is from the only feature film(which I'd like to see!) Dog Days of the West. Only stories from the show & film are listed.
