Twenty Movies That Should Have Won Oscars According to Espresso

The Oscars wouldn't be the Oscars without a bit of controversy (or in the case of the 2017 Moonlight/La La Land fiasco, a lot of controversy). Nearly every year's Best Picture winner is met with at least some criticism, including from the President of the United States himself. Choosing the year's top film is a difficult enterprise. After all, movies, like any art form, are subjective. That said, sometimes we can't help but think that the Academy got it wrong. Here are 20 movies that Espresso believes should have won the Oscar over the actual winner.
For the record, I think the Oscar voters got it right in 1946 (The Best Years in Our Lives) and 1974 (The Godfather: Part II)
